Claes Holger de Vreese is Professor of AI, Media and Democracy at the University of Amsterdam and Director of the Digitial Democracy Centre at Syddansk University. He has published widely on changes in the media landscape and its effects on citizens, public opinion and behavior.
He co-directs the AI, Media and Demoracy lab, works with news organisations in multiple countries, and advices on topics such as disinformation, digital methods and data access to platforms, and AI implementation.
