Conrad Christian Helgers graduated from the scriptwriter programme of the National Filmschool of Denmark in June 2025.
Before film school Conrad studied acting at ‘The academy of stage art’ taught by Lykke Meyer, and before that he studied religion at Copenhagen University. Here he developed a love and interest for the ancient myths and legends that create the foundation for the cultures that are built on top of them.
Conrad often works with relationship driven stories that contain a clash of reality and magical elements. He is interested in the modern person. Stripping away all its defenses, and seeing what’s hiding inside.
Conrad lives in Copenhagen, plays tennis, used to do improvisational comedy and is now looking towards the next adventure of the recently graduated screenwriter: “The paid job”, with excitement, glee, a little bit of repressed rage and awe.
