Emilie Skovgaard is an experienced music supervisor and founder of GLUE Music Supervision.
She began her career as a manager and project leader in the music industry while studying Music Management at the Rhythmic Music Conservatory. During this time, she discovered her dream job: music supervision. A field that combines law, economics, and project leadership, while bridging the film and music industries and allowing her to use her deep knowledge of music in a new creative context.
Emilie started at Zentropa Music and later became an in-house music supervisor at Nordisk Film Production in Scandinavia, where she contributed to numerous films and series, including Bullshit, Elskling, Nattevagten – Dæmoner går i arv, Vogter, Lille Allan, Jagtsæson 2, and Meter i Sekundet, which won Song of the Year at the 2023 Robert Awards.
In 2024 she co-founded GLUE with her partner Cecilie Karpinski: A music supervision company dedicated to showing the creative and practical value of having a music supervisor on board. GLUE provides productions with a sense of security and clarity by managing rights, budgets, and any challenges that arise, helping filmmakers to focus on what they do best: finding the perfect soundtrack for their stories.
