TV in a New Era: From Creative Freedom to Cautious Innovation

Fiction is facing new challenges, and we’re moving from ‘From Peak TV to Peak Caution’. This applies in Denmark, the Nordic countries, and globally. From a ‘golden age of fiction,’ where everything was possible and the sky was the limit, we now produce more ‘safe’ choices instead of experimental concepts.

However, this caution does not necessarily mean stagnation—quite the opposite. It provides broadcasters with the opportunity to strengthen their position and develop new strategies.

In the session, Keld Reinicke will show how certain players have adapted and found success in this new era, and how others can do the same
