Joey Ellis

Joey Ellis is a creative director and designer based in New York. His early career was spent at the advertising agencies Havas, FCB, and Wieden+Kennedy before starting GrandArmy as an independent agency. He’s an ADC Young, a former professor at the School of Visual Arts, and has been working in the creative industry for over 16 years.

Joey hails from Northern Maryland. An avid skateboarder, he spent much of his life cruising the tri-state area’s best parks, ledges and stair sets. If Joey isn’t skating he’s reading (and drawing) comic books, bouldering, and daydreaming of humanity’s future in space.
