Katrine Vogelsang is the Head of Fiction at TV 2, Denmark. She has worked at TV 2 since 2011 and has commissioned popular shows such as Badehotellet (Seaside Hotel), Rita and Minkavlerne (Minkbreaders). Before joining TV 2, she worked as an in-house producer at DR Drama.
The fiction department at TV 2 commissions original Danish drama productions for the streaming service TV 2 PLAY and TV 2’s linear and digital channels (TV 2, TV 2 Zulu, and TV 2 Charlie). During Vogelsang’s leadership, TV 2 Fiction has successfully secured external funding for tv-series, which has contributed to a vast increase in the number of original Danish tv-series broadcasted at TV 2 over the past years – from two series a year in 2011 to more than ten series premiering in 2021.
