Kristine Plechinger Tüchsen is a screenwriter educated at Super16 (Class #12) and the Danish Screenwriting School for Children’s Fiction. She has worked professionally in the industry during and after her studies, developing and writing on her first projects – exploring both series and feature films for both children and adult audiences.
Kristine aspires to a career where she can combine her interest in more commercial, broad-format storytelling with more arthouse-driven narratives.
She loves to experiment with form and process. Her work often explores both the very small problems that feel enormous — and the big, complex issues that can feel deeply vulnerable to approach.
These are themes through which she investigates the nuances of what she truly believes in and stands for. Her first-year film at Super16, AN EXAMPLE, received the 2024 Danish Robert Award for Best Short Fiction/Animation and was named Best Danish Short Film at Odense International Film Festival (OFF) in 2023. Her second-year film, WILD CHILD, was awarded the Robert for Best Short Fiction/Animation in 2025 and was selected for the San Sebastian Film Festival.
