Laufey Guðjónsdóttir has over 30 years of experience in the fields of film, production, media, promotion, managing and film- and TV finance. She has been engaged in various international organizations of film, arts and media and touched upon many different segments of the cultural sector throughout her career. She has worked at RUV Iceland, Channel 3, the Icelandic Film Fund as well as the Ministry of Education and Culture. Today, she is the director of the Icelandic Film Centre.
