Marianne Furevold

Marianne Furevold-Boland is the Head of Drama at NRK, where she oversees series like  So Long Marianne, DIRL, Powerplay, Exit, and State of Happiness.

She was also the producer behind Skam and continues to supervise its international adaptations.

With a broad career at NRK, Marianne has worked as a producer, script doctor, writer, journalist, and presenter across both television and radio. She also teaches workshops on script development and production methods.

Marianne is trained as an actor at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA) in the UK.
