Matt Trickett joined Ampere Analysis in September 2024, bringing more than two decades of media industry expertise. His career spans senior roles in commercial strategy and research at major studios, including a long tenure at NBCUniversal, where he oversaw high-value content deal planning and negotiations with broadcasters, pay-TV providers, and SVOD platforms across EMEA. He also managed carriage agreements for NBCU’s portfolio of linear channels and led operations for its proprietary SVOD service, PictureBox.
Before NBCU, Matt held positions at Sony Pictures Television, Sky UK, and AOL UK, and began his career as an analyst at Informa’s Telecoms and Media division. At Ampere, he co-leads the Media Team and plays a key role in developing new products. Matt holds an MA in Economic History from the University of Manchester and financial qualifications from the London School of Economics.
