Over the past ten years, Mikkel Abel has covered the film and television industry with a focus on both Denmark and abroad, as a film journalist, reviewer, podcast host and moderator.
Mikkel has been a freelancer for the media DR, P4, P3, Soundvenue, Filmz, Aalborg.nu and Kalas. Since 2017, he has been streaming and podcast editor at the online film site Moovy.dk. Here, he is, among other things, a regular host of the Moovy Podcast, which is published every other Friday.
He also has extensive experience as an employee and project manager in the cinema industry, where he specializes in preparing audiences for film experiences with big and small classics, event experiences and film festivals. He has also been a guest lecturer at Aarhus University.
Mikkel graduated from Aalborg University with a cand.mag. in English and Media Studies.
