Pernille Lund is a Danish director and writer educated at the independent film school Super8 in 2021. Since then, she has worked in Berlin, Paris, and New Zealand, developing a distinctive international voice in her storytelling. Her work led to the creation of a Netflix pilot after winning Netflix Series School, and she has directed several award-winning short films.
In 2022, she was selected for Terre di Cinema in Italy, where she directed her first 35 mm film. She holds a degree in Creative Communication from DMJX and in Scriptwriting from the University of Southern Denmark. Pernille is represented by the talent agency FERN and mentors emerging filmmakers at the Film Workshop in Copenhagen.
Music and sound are at the heart of her creative process, shaping the mood, rhythm, and emotional depth of all her films. As a female director, Pernille is dedicated to amplifying diverse and nuanced voices both in front of and behind the camera and to fostering inclusive, authentic narratives.
