Shirin Aziz

Shirin Aziz is a screenwriter and filmmaker from Aarhus. She completed her master’s degree in media studies in 2024 and is currently working on the short film ” Hvordan Siger Man Coach På Kurdisk” (How to Say Coach in Kurdish) in collaboration with Åben Årgang and Aarhus Filmværksted.

She likes to mix humor and seriousness in her stories, which often revolve around family, identity, cultural encounters and everyday dramas. Shirin is passionate about authenticity and dismantling stereotypes about Black and Brown people through her stories.
