Katrine K. Pedersen is a Media Studies PhD fellow at Copenhagen University and an internationally renowned author, credited with the creation of several books, including The Digitally Influencable (De digitalt udsatte). She has contributed research and strategic counseling to various organizations such as HBO and UNICEF regarding digital child and youth culture; and as an associate researcher at ENAR – The European Network Against Racism research project about government agencies’ use of AI and data-driven decision making.
She also co-hosts the podcast “The Power of MEMES” (MEME dig til magten) together with journalist, Marie Høst, at the Danish daily broadsheet newspaper Politiken, where she explores digital culture’s impact on societal power dynamics.
