AARHUS FILM DAYS is created by THIS in collaboration with The National Film School of Denmark and the cinema Øst for Paradis.

AARHUS FILM DAYS is three days for all film enthusiasts and cinephiles. The venue for this inspiriong film festival is the iconic cinema Øst for Paradis where talks, screenings and premieres is on the program.

AARHUS FILM DAYS focuses on films with a contemporary significance; stories that reverberate throughout society and stimulate dialogue.

In 2022, THIS partnered up with The Nordic Council Film Prize to screen the four films nominated for the award in Aarhus as part of the THIS. This was further developed into AARHUS FILM DAYS in which these screenings continue to be an integral part.

AARHUS FILM DAYS consists of three tracks: screenings of the films nominated for The Nordic Council Film Prize, exclusive film previews, and talks.

The film festival launched for the first time in 2023.
