Mette Zähringer, VP and partner in Iceberg Music Group, a modern music company with focus on Sync-licensing, has 37 years of experience in the Danish Music Industry.
She has worked in most functions within the record- and music publishing including A&R, product development, copyright administration, law, and has extensive know-how in international work with artists and composers like Scatman John, Dúné, The Blue Van, Tim Schou and Nice Little Penguins and many more.
One of Mette’s key areas is synchronization both in Denmark and abroad. Especially The Blue Van has benefited from the large international network with more than 70 placements in American films, TV- series, games, and advertisements.
Mette has for the last 9 years been a board member of the Danish Music Publishers Association (MPA Denmark / Musikforlæggerne). In that capacity she has been a part of NCB’s working group on the new Synchronization model for the Nordic countries. Besides that, she lectures in music export, publishing, and synchronization.
