Session host: Sarita Christensen

Sarita Christensen is the CEO of Copenhagen Bombay, which she created together with director Anders Morgenthaler. Their mission was to produce quality films, TV, animation, cross media, games and books for young audiences. Anders Morgenthaler left the company in 2011.

Titles produced by Copenhagen Bombay include documentary films by Michael Noer, “Vesterbro” (2007) and “The Wild Hearts” (2008), as well as animation features such as “The Apple & the Worm” (2009) by Anders Morgenthaler, “The Great Bear” (2011) and “Beyond Beyond” (2014), the latter two directed by Esben Toft Jacobsen.

Sarita previously worked at Zentropa, first as assistant producer on several feature films and later as head of Zentropa’s children and youth division, Zentropa GRRRR.

She was selected as one of European Film Promotion’s Producers on the Move at the Cannes Festival in 2007.
