Tim Garbos makes games and hopes that people who see them say: “Have you seen this? It’s crazy, right? Who would make such a thing!?” He loves to play around with expectations, surprises, and comedy.
He’s a co-founder and creative director at Triband, a comedy games studio, that brought the world whacky experiences such as WHAT THE GOLF?, a golf game for people who hate golf, WHAT THE BAT?, a VR game about going through life with baseball bats for arms, and most recently WHAT THE CAR?, a racing game for people who don’t like cars.
Everything is kind of a creative chaotic mess and would probably go horribly wrong if he wasn’t surrounded by super talented and wonderful people.
