As head of content, Nordics for Prime Video, Andreas Hjertø is responsible for identifying and acquiring the best local content for Nordic audiences across Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland.
In building the slate of locally produced and acquired Nordic content, the team works to bolster the Prime Video global offering of thousands of popular movies and TV shows, including Emmy-winner The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, The Boys, The Grand Tour, Reacher and Thirteen Lives.
With extensive experience managing, producing, commissioning and developing content on all platforms, Hjertø has previously been MD, director and producer of multiple Nordic productions and production companies. Before joining Amazon spent five years as Program Director for NENT.
