Hervé Hadmar is a graphic designer who since childhood, has been passionate about comics and television series.
He has worked as an artistic director in advertising for more than ten years before writing and directing his first short film, Cuit à la Vapeur in 1996. Two years later, in 1998, he wrote and directed his first feature film, Comme un poisson hors de l’eau with Monica Bellucci, Tchéky Karyo and Dominique Pinon.
Hervé Hadmar has later changed direction, focusing on television series, which has since become his preferred format.
Most recently, he has created Notre-Dame, the upcoming Netflix series, which focuses on the impact of the 2019 fire of Notre–Dame on a diverse group of Parisians.
