Mads Damsbo has worked in the cross section of film, creative technologies and experience design for more than 10 years.
Graduated as a producer from Super16 and media editor from DMJX, he has worked as a producer and co-creator on a long list of distinctive and award-winning productions, such as “Skammekoren”, VR installation, “Open Orchestra”, cross-aesthetic interaction with Copenhagen Phil, “Anthropia” extended reality universe at Copenhagen Contemporary, “Shadow”, VR side piece to Ole Bornedals “Skyggen i Mit Øje”, and “Nattens Ende”, a feature-length VR film.
For the past 3 years, Mads has been interested in how artists and filmmakers can collaborate with artificial intelligence. For this reason, he created Kaspar AI in 2020. Kaspar AI produces art and entertainment in collaboration with AI and creates tools for film editors.
At the same time, Mads is Head of Studies at European Creators Lab as well as a creative technologist, experience designer and director/producer on a number of films and VR projects, such as “Dark Rooms” which is supported by The Danish Film Institute, and “About a Hero”, which will be the very first feature film written by an AI.
