Head of Comedy Talent Development, BBC Comedy

Navi Lamba is the Head of Talent Development for BBC Comedy, where she in charge of spearheading talent outreach. Before that Navi was a commissioner at Channel 4 with a focus on Entertainment and E4, while there she commissioned multi-platform digital shows across scripted and unscripted like One Night Stand (which has since been developed into a long-form series), How To Be a Person, the award nominated Pete and Sam’s Reality News, and Reset and Rewind.

Navi joined Channel 4 in 2020 from BBC Three where she commissioned digital formats for the channel before becoming Head of Social where she led on campaigns for key programmes like Fleabag, RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, and Glow Up. Prior to her time at the BBC, she was a senior social media producer for VICE Media and worked on a range of in-house productions across VICE News to Munchies.
