Lisa Ambjörn

Lisa Ambjörn graduated from the Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts with a bachelor in screenwriting in 2018. She has since worked on several well-received series, most recently as the creator and head writer of the Netflix original series Young Royals (2021-).

Lisa Ambjörn’s comedic drama Sjukt (2021), an 8 episode original for SVT, was dubbed ”Without a doubt the funniest thing that will ever be made about cervical cancer” in the media.

The story is based on Ambjörn’s own experience of surviving cancer at a young age.

At THIS 2022 she will join the stage together with Amalie Næsby Fick, Tina Rygh and Nikolaj Feifer to give insight in their work in the session “New Nordic Storytellers“.
