Award-winning director Jonas Risvig has directed several documentaries about Danish musicians and artists. He debuted in 2015 with the music documentary ‘Rolig Under Pres’ about the Aarhus-based DJ Static. Since then, Risvig among other things has directed the documentary series ‘Da Danmark blev Suspekt’ for which he won a Zulu Award in 2016 for Best Original TV-programme.
Jonas has designed visuals on a variety of media platforms from documentaries to commercials, music videos, and short films. His vibrant and emotional narratives capture the mysterious wildness of being young and the beauty of the changing seasons in life.
With the highly topical web-series ‘Centrum’, Jonas has captured the feel and emotion of a young generation in historical times during the Corona lock-down. Because what do you do when you can’t celebrate your graduation day, or your best friend needs comfort, and the guy you like suddenly isn’t allowed to kiss you?
The series is written by young people from all over Denmark and demonstrates a new way of creating topical content.
