Nikko Weidemann has since 1980 been working as musician, singer, songwriter music arranger, and producer.
Nikko Weidemann born in Cologne 1961 and raised in Berlin, Freiburg and Kassel. He has clasical training in piano while he is self-taught in guitar and vocals.
He has been composing music for various feature films, tv series and documentaries since 1985, and he has been working with prominent musicians and projects such as Nena, Nick Cave, Einstürtzende Neubauten, Rufus Wainwright, Sean Lennon & Conny Plank.
He has been working on a long list of German film projects including “Babylon Berlin”, season one and two. Today he’s touring with the Moka Efti Orchestra – which is also the name of the famous and notorious nightclub from the series.
