In 2015, Ole Rahbek joined the production company Pineapple Entertainment as Head of Programme, and for the last five years, he has had the role as CEO of the company, which is partly owned by Banijay Group.
Pineapple was established in 2013 focusing on shows, comedy and factual entertainment. Prior to joining Pineapple, Ole Rahbek have had a long career in public broadcasting heading several departments at DR – Danish Broadcasting Corporation. Among them the Factual Department, the Event Department as well as serving as Creative Head of the Cultural Department.
Ole Rahbek has an MBA from Berlin School of Creative Leadership and is author of the book Sustainable Creativity focusing on creative work methods. He has a special interest in climate issues in storytelling.
