Industry Meeting: BBC Studios Nordics & Pluto TV

BBC Studios Nordics Invites Local Producers to Remake Development

Ole Steen Stolberg works as Project Manager – Formats & Productions at BBC Studios Nordics. He has experience with Content Sales and Acquisitions for broadcast and streaming as well as script coverage and content evaluation when dealing with scripted, factual and feature films. At THIS Event, Ole Steen Stolberg will introduce the participants to BBC Studios and their commercial division in the Nordics.

He will tell us about how the work of BBC Studios Nordics has previously evolved around entertainment formats as ‘Dancing with the Stars’ (Vild med dans) and ‘The Great (British) Bakeoff’ (Den store bagedyst) but has now shifted to also dealing with scripted formats and remakes of classic shows as ‘The Office‘. How do they adapt an already existing format as the beloved and humoristic The Office and remake it into a Nordic version without losing the core of the show?

Lastly, Ole Steen Stolberg will talk about how BBC Studios Nordics are interested in joining the development of or even join as co-production partner in original premium Nordic drama series.
