Tore is Associate Professor at the School of Communication and Culture, Aarhus University, and head of Center for Literature between Media. Since 2014, he has headed the research centre Literature Between Media.
He is the author of the book ‘Serier’ (Series) and ‘As We Speak: Concurrent Narration and Participation in the Serial Narratives “@I_Bombadil” and Skam’.
Series addiction starts innocently. It begins with a couple of episodes of ‘Teletubbies’. Soon the kids are flying around with Harry Potter and company in 7 volumes, 8 movies and several spinoffs.
And before you know it, you’re hooked. As fullgrown adults we find it crucial with a subscription to both HBO and Netflix.
