THIS 2024
In 2024 the theme at THIS CONFERENCE was Making Friends with Technology.
It is globally known that AI is affecting the fundamental structures in our societies, and the need to cultivate co-existence with technology has never been more urgent.
As we enter the age of synthetic media, awareness about how digital technologies are omnipresent is essential. It influences our lives, culture, and thought processes, which results in certain biases being perpetuated.
With these technologies now integral to the media industry, there is a need to learn how to navigate this landscape ethically and meaningfully; ultimately to determine what stories we need to tell.
The program for the 2024-version and seventh edition of the festival invitede us to rethink our interactions with and use of technology, ensuring that we stay connected as humans in an increasingly digitalized world.
