In this on-stage fireside chat, Kay Gruenwoldt from Paladin Studios and Jannick Lund from Vizlab Studios will bring examples of how they have successfully utilized the power of visuals in business meetings and pitches.
Their main message: Visuals of a game product is what will catch your attention. This is not only true for the final product, but also when you run a game company, and have to pitch your project or business services to investors, publishers or business partners.
Derk de Geus is co-founder of Paladin Studios, a Dutch game studio on a mission to create games that make you smile – be it a sweet twinkle, loud laugh, or evil grin. He is also the chairman of the Dutch Games Association, on a mission to level up the Dutch game developer community.
Jannick Lund is the Design Director and Co-Founder of Vizlab Studios, where they do concept design for game studios. They’ve worked for undisclosed AAA clients and smaller studios like BetaDwarf, Bright Star Studios and Stitch Heads Entertainment.
